Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions was established in the year 2009 under the dynamic leadership of the veteran Director, Dr S Peniel Paul Doss, M.Tech (Thermal Engg), PhD and Principal, Dr Ch Kantlam, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), PhD. It is a private college which is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. The college has been affiliated with JNTU Hyderabad. It has been recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE, New Delhi as well as the Pharmacy Council of India. For the benefit of the student's wellbeing, the college values co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The students do well in extracurricular and intercollegiate competitions. The college also provides guest lectures in both general and technical fields and personality development workshops for the continued advancement of both students and staff.

The BGSESGI courses are offered to interested candidates at the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are a total of 30 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering, technology and management. All the courses at the institute are offered in offline, regular mode to the students. The Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions admission to all the courses is provided on the basis of the candidate's performance in the respective entrance exam and the last qualifying exam. TS EAMCET (for B.Tech and B.Pharma courses), TS PGECET (for M.Tech & M.Pharma courses) and TS POLYCET (for Diploma courses) are some of the entrance exams that are accepted by the college for admission.

The BGSESGI campus is spread over an area of 70 acres and has a gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking options, a full-fledged library, a café and other amenities for students. The college also maintains a dedicated cell for placement-related operations. The Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions placement cell runs placement drives each year with the assistance of the participating recruiters to give students the opportunity to start their careers before even finishing their education. The college consistently hosts a range of events, including webinars, seminars, pre-placement interviews, training sessions, and more, and has a solid track record of placing students. 

At the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, interested applicants may take admission to the Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions courses. The institute offers a total of 30 courses in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, and technology. All these courses are offered to candidates in the offline, regular mode to candidates. The BGSESGI provides undergraduate studies that run four years (three years for lateral entry B.Tech programmes), as well as graduate programmes that last two years. Candidates for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma programmes must have passed class 12 or a comparable exam from a recognised board with at least 45% of their marks in the science stream. To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech courses, they must also appear and qualify in the TS EAMCET entrance exam. The annual Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions fees for the various offered courses varies from Rs 15,500 to Rs 1.1 Lakhs.
